Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Therefore go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. -- Matthew 28:18-20 (

Why Translate the Scriptures?
by Mark Brand

And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open its seals: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and language, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. (Revelation 5:6-10 AV)

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and languages, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God who sitteth upon the throne, and to the Lamb. (Revelation 7:9-10 AV)

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and language, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. (Revelation 14:6-7 AV)

A heavenly scroll filled with divine revelation, sealed with seven seals and no one found worthy to open it and read its message. Twenty-four elders singing in acclamation of the only person able to do so. An innumerable company of redeemed men and women, representative of every people group on earth standing before the throne of God and of the Lamb, thundering forth their praises. An angel flying in the midst of heaven, preaching the Gospel to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people, calling the hearers to worship. Such were the fantastic sights seen by the Apostle John on the isle of Patmos and recorded in the New Testament book of Revelation. (Why Translate the Bible?)
